Liberian music family, Smart B - The Coconut Boy is switching things up!

The artist has revealed that fans should expect an EP instead of a single, suggesting that he may be preparing to give his supporters more music at once.

This comes after Smart B and his former record label reportedly parted ways, with the artist also leaving behind the benefits he received under the label, including his apartment.

Now the big question is: Is this the beginning of a new chapter for Smart B, or will life as an independent artist come with more pressure? l

Family, the music industry no easy! Sometimes the journey changes, but the mission remains the same.

Family, so the pregnancy story that was making rounds about our superstar Fluxii was actually TRUE!

According to Fluxii, the only problem was that the internet was too slow to capture the story! Before the blogs could fully process the pregnancy news, sis had already welcomed her baby girl.

Fluxii has now officially introduced her beautiful daughter to her fans, proudly calling her “Industry Grandchild.

So while everybody was still asking, “Is Fluxii really pregnant?” — Fluxii was already saying, “Family, meet my baby!

Congratulations to Fluxii and welcome to the world, Industry Grandchild!

Guys, what do you think about this whole New Money 001 movement and his new record label, King Record?

To be honest, some people might feel like the man is rushing things—from signing artists, producers and bloggers, to pushing the label name and even himself at the same time.

He has already made some very big statements about King’s Record Official including saying there’s no record label bigger than his. But when we look around, we still have Money Empire, Bilikon, SIG, Relumae and other established movements making noise in the industry.

There’s a wise saying: “If you rush, you will crush.”

But then again, maybe New Money 001 isn’t rushing—maybe he simply has a big vision and wants to move aggressively before others catch up.

And me, I know my boy Christoph… if the money isn’t coming, lay mab quick to slide!

So what y’all think?
Is New Money 001 building Liberia’s next big music empire, or is he trying to do too much too fast?

Liberian Afrobeats and melody artist Stunn says what God laid on his heart today is a serious message for every upcoming artist trying to make it in the music industry.

According to STUNN artists who have stayed in the industry for years have history, the internet, decades of music, and plenty of artists and careers to study.

He says upcoming artists should not allow anyone to convince them that the way we understand music locally is the same way the rest of the world understands it.

“Take your time. Develop.”

Stunn believes artist development can take years—even up to 10 years. So, according to him, there is no need for the rush-rush mentality.

His advice is simple:

Study the industry. Develop your sound.
Build your identity. Understand the business.
Have a strategy.Stay committed.

And most importantly:

DON’T CHASE THE MOMENT.
BUILD A CAREER.

Family, do you agree with Stunn’s advice to the upcoming artists?
