🚨 Important Student Visa Update – Effective 2 October 2026! 🇦🇺

Australia has introduced major changes to Student visa (Subclass 500) and Student Guardian visa (Subclass 590) application rules.

Here's what you need to know:

✈️ Onshore Applications:
Most existing Student visa holders must apply offshore for another Student visa unless an exemption applies.

🎓 Exemptions:
Eligible PhD applicants, certain course progressions and education provider default cases may qualify for onshore applications.

🛂 Other Visa Holders:
In addition to visa holders such as 482, 485 and 600, Working Holiday visa holders (subclasses 417 and 462) are now also required to apply for a Student visa offshore.

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Members:
Stricter rules apply to including family members, with limited exemptions. Subsequent entrant applications are no longer permitted, with no exemptions.

📩 Not sure how these changes affect you?
