225 Years of Justice! ⚖️
The Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, established on 18th April 1801 through the Royal Charter of Justice, proudly marks 225 years of serving justice in Sri Lanka.
To commemorate this historic milestone, a Ceremonial Sitting of the Supreme Court will be held today.
"But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream."
(Holy Bible - Amos 5:24)
yena atthaṃ sahasā naye tena dhammaṭṭho na hoti
paṇḍito yo ca atthaṃ ca anatthaṃ ca ubho niccheyya
