Bijjani Advocates: 10 Years of Building More Than a Law Firm
Ten years ago, Bijjani Advocates was not a firm. It was an idea.
One lawyer.
A small office.
Very few clients.
And a simple belief: that a law firm could be built on excellence without losing humanity.
There was no grand launch, no large team, and no safety net. Just hard work, persistence, and the willingness to earn trust one client at a time.
Today, ten years later, Bijjani Advocates stands as a well-recognized law firm in Lebanon, advising leading regional and international clients. But numbers and recognition are only part of the story.
The real achievement is something less visible.
It is the culture we built.
From a Practice to a Team
Growth in the legal profession is often measured by revenue, offices, or rankings. While we are proud of how far we have come, what matters most to us is something different: the people who chose to build this journey together.
We made an early decision that shaped everything that followed:
We would never build success at the expense of our people.
The legal profession is often known for pressure, hierarchy, and difficult working environments. We wanted something different. We wanted a place where young lawyers could grow without fear, where collaboration replaces internal competition, and where respect is not a slogan but a daily practice.
We believed, and still believe, that you cannot build a great firm if people do not feel they belong.
A Different Kind of Strength
Our strength was never just legal knowledge. Many firms have that.
Our strength became our spirit.
A spirit that says:
• We win together
• We support each other during difficult periods
• We celebrate success together
• We face challenges as one team
We worked hard to create an environment that is ambitious but not aggressive, professional but not cold, and demanding but never toxic.
Because we believe something very simple:
People do their best work where they feel respected.
Resilience Through Difficult Times
Building a firm in Lebanon over the past decade has not been easy. Economic crises, endless wars, uncertainty, and regional challenges tested every business.
Like many others, we had moments where the easy choice would have been to slow down, to reduce ambition, or to simply survive.
Instead, we chose to move forward.
Not because it was easy, but because resilience is part of our DNA. We adapted, we supported our team, we stood by our clients, and we continued investing in the future when others were stepping back.
That is what defines Bijjani Advocates:
Not how we grew in easy times, but how we stood firm in difficult ones.
10 Years Later, Still the Same Values
A decade later, we are proud not only of what we built, but how we built it.
We are proud that we remained approachable.
We are proud that we remained ethical.
We are proud that we remained human.
Most importantly, we are proud that despite our growth, we never lost the friendly spirit that defined us on day one.
The Next Chapter
Ten years is not the end of a journey. It is the foundation of the next one.
Our ambition today is the same as it was on day one:
Not just to be a successful law firm, but to be a firm people are proud to be part of.
To our clients who trusted us.
To our team members past and present who built this story.
To our partners and friends who supported our journey.
Thank you for being part of our first 10 years.
The best chapters of Bijjani Advocates are still being written.
