🌸 Celebrating Strength & Resilience on International Women's Day! 🌸

On March 8, 2025, MSD gathered at Tres Marias in Sed El Baouchrieh, for an empowering psychological support session where 20 incredible women joined to share their emotions, learn about resilience, and connect with one another.

Through interactive activities and open discussions, a safe space was created where every voice was heard and every feeling validated. From drawing life's ups and downs to practicing relaxation techniques, each moment was a testament to the strength within us.

Thank you to our participants and representatives from IOM - UN Migration and Tres Marias for making this day unforgettable.

The statement highlights the crucial role of migrant workers in global development and the need to address the challenges they face on their journeys. 🚶‍♀️💼 Let’s work towards a future where migration is safe, fair, and equitable for all. 🌏💪

Through 16 peer-to-peer training sessions, 11 participants successfully completed the training proudly receiving certificates. 🌟

Skills in stress management, emotional expression, effective communication, and facilitation techniques were gained. Participants also gained practical tools to facilitate peer-to-peer sessions, such as active listening, session planning and organization, and group animation techniques. 💡 Two participants already led 6 psychosocial support sessions within their communities, creating a ripple effect of impact.

With renewed confidence, these communities are ready to continue making a difference, are ready to inspire and uplift those around them ! 🤝

As migrant workers and their families continue to navigate the challenges brought on by recent conflicts in Lebanon, MSD along with Clown Me In brought extra cheer and delivered an unforgettable performance filled with mime, balloons, games, and laughter. 🎈🤹‍♂️

The event aimed to uplift spirits, encourage creativity, and provide a sense of normalcy in the midst of the ongoing challenges. Seeing the smiles on both the children’s and adults' faces is a reminder of resilience and joy, even in the hardest times.💛

MSD, in partnership with IOM Lebanon - UN Migration Agency, distributed dignity kits to migrant women at the Aley Community Center. These women, through life skills training and psychosocial support sessions are taking steps toward empowerment and resilience. Every act of kindness brings hope and makes a difference. 💪✨
