If you are a D-2 visa holding international student graduating from universities and seeking jobs in Korea, you are eligible for application of D-10 visa to extend your sojourn.

To be specific, you should have earned or proven be a candidate for a bachelor’s degree or associate degree from a Korean university or a community college. In addition, you should prepare for a concrete plan of job-seeking activities.

However, if you have ever been involved in illegal (part-time) employment or unauthorized activities within the last 5 years at the time of your application, your application may not be accepted by the immigration office.

Accepted applications will be evaluated by the point system, which allows permission to change your visa status only if you have scored 20 points or more on the basic categories and 60 points or more in total.
