Through the adoption of Praka No. 122 dated 30 January 2026, Cambodia has introduced a one year (1) tax relief aimed at supporting enterprises in the tourism sectors in Siem Reap such as hotel, restaurants and travel agencies. The tax reliefs include tax on income, with any amounts already paid being treated as a tax credit applicable toward the 2027 tax year, tax audit and all monthly taxes excluding VAT and accommodation taxes.

ថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្មបានចេញសេចក្តីជូនដំណឹងលេខ ០៥១ ស្តីពីការលើកលែងការពិន័យចំពោះក្រុមហ៊ុនខកខានតម្កល់ប្រតិវេទន៏ប្រចាំឆ្នាំ។ អនុលោមតាមសេចក្តីជូនដំណឹងនេះ ការផាកពិន័យត្រូវបានកាត់បន្ថយ និងបង់សម្រាប់រយៈពេល ត្រឹម ១ ឆ្នាំចុងក្រោយប៉ុណ្ណោះ។
On 8 January 2026, the Ministry of Commerce (the “MOC”) issued Announcement No. 051 on the waiver of penalties for companies that failed to submit their annual declarations. Pursuant to this announcement, the penalty is reduced and payable for the most recent one year only.

The General Department of Taxation (“GDT”) has postponed the Capital Gains Tax (“CGT”) under Notification No. 041 of Ministry of Economy Finance (“MEF”) dated 2 January 2026 on immovable property, with implementation now deferred to 1 January 2027.
