Victorious Monday!
The Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) has today dropped the charges that were pressed against my client and I.
The DCI found the evidence not sufficient to sustain the charges against Dr. Fred Matiang'i and I.In fact the Enquiry File has been ordered closed with no other police action.
As stated earlier in a press release, I assured my client and the general public that this was a politically motivated witch hunt and had nothing to do with my client.
We were accused of committing felony contrary to section 393 of the Penal Code and Publication of false information contrary to section 23 of the Computer and Misuse and Cybercrime Act No.5 of 2018.
We will continue to uphold and defend the Constitution and the sovereignty of the people against rogue officials.
Later in the day, we will give a presser on the details of what probable circumstances faced my clients.
