I had the absolute JOY of co-authoring this beautiful and powerful comic book “My Voice Counts” created especially for the young girls and boys in Kajiado County

Together with the inspiring team at Kenswed Girl Empowerment Program, we crafted a story that helps girls find the courage to say NO to FGM and say YES to their voices, dreams, and futures! 💪🏽

Seeing this in print, knowing that it’s already making waves, it’s a feeling I can’t quite describe. Empowered children become empowered communities. And change starts with stories like these.
