n use your VOICE and LAWS now?' Hence 2017 NI SASA. Collectively we are powerful beyond measure. OUR AIM
We aim at working with and through the government of Samburu to ensure that the violation of the laws that govern devolution are CORRECTED, the unfair treatment of job seekers is ABOLISHED, the illegal approval of tenders is STOP and EQUALITY is achieved. We strive to eradicate nepotism, clanism, negative ethnicity, achieve regional balance, achieve gender balance. We give voice to our youth, women, people with disability, the elderly, the general electorate. We provide a platform for dialogue, and citizen participation. What 2017 NI SASA IS:
1. It is social justice campaign
2. It collects evidence of issues raised
3. It targets systems, procedures, legality
4. It is a process, a journey, a movement, a life. What 2017 NI SASA is NOT:
1. It is not a political political campaign
2. It does not rely on hearsay
3. It does not target individuals
4. It is not an event
The campaign is anchored on legal framework, to check the government. Exposing the injustices
2. Dialogue to resolve them
3. Legal Action.
4. Peaceful Demonstrations
5. Capacity Building and Trainings of communities
6. Recruitment of network members - TEAM at Ward Level
7. Any other activity as per citizens legal mandate. We invite all the electorate with conviction to social justice, Respect to rule of law, Desire for good governance, champion for Equality and spirit of inclusion.
