Unfortunately Ian Njoroge has to be presumed innocent pending and during trial. It's a constitutional right to the accused persons. All the excitement surrounding his arrest should not get in the heads of the investigating officers.. if he is presumed otherwise than innocent, then it might bring problems that might lead to a mistrial. In one of the police interrogation videos, a police officer is heard telling him to say "Mimi ni wazimu". If indeed he's found to be a wazimu, he will not be tried. You cannot try a wazimu. The law presumes that a wazimu cannot know right from wrong, and that he cannot comfom to the conduct of the law.
The other side of the law.
