Creative Commons KE

Creative Commons KE To increase awareness of other less stringent Copyright licences which are easy-to-use and give the public permission to share and use creative work.

We are an affiliate to the Creative Commons organisation which is devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon legally and to share. The increasing use of CC licenses in Kenya will help in enhancing the visibility and accessibility of Kenyan creativity in the global networked space. Kenya is also home to a vibrant if querulous democracy. We are a multi-ethnic

society comprising 42 odd communities. We hope to harness the wealth that can come from such cultural and linguistic diversity through the creative commons movement. Legal Lead: National Council for Law reporting (NCLR)
