There was a light moment at the when LSK CEO Florence Muturi-Guandaru while doing her best to speak fluent Kiswahili, left everyone in stitches when she fondly referred to the Branch Chairs present (Natasha Ali, Priscillar Kioko and Eric Kivuva) as “Wakubwa wa Matawi” — the bosses of the branches!

And honestly, who are we to argue with that title? 😂

The Law Society of Kenya President’s Golf Tournament came to a memorable close this evening at the Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort, bringing together golfers for a day of skill, competition and camaraderie.

The evening culminated in the awards ceremony, where outstanding performers were recognised and celebrated for their impressive displays on the course.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants for making the tournament a resounding success.

The LSK Council, representatives from the Branch Chairs Caucus, Members and the Secretariat took part in the at Kwale School for the Deaf.

The School's headteacher gave participants a tour of the School, where they witnessed first-hand the challenges faced by the school management and students. They also interacted with some students and their parents, who reiterated the School’s urgent need for support.

The Society presented the School with a cheque of KShs. 410,000/=, as well as a cash donation of KShs. 115,000/= from well-wishers.

The school management, parents and students expressed their gratitude for the Society’s generous support.

The Society wishes to thank Members who took part in the activity and looks forward to their continued participation in future initiatives.
