The laws of Kenya speak strongly against early marriage. It is an extremely harmful and retrogressive cultural practice that has numerous negative effects on the life of the victim. Some of these effects include; denial of the right to education, exposure to GBV (in the form of defilement, physical abuse and economic disempowerment) and child pregnancy which poses a huge health risk and can even lead to death of the child. End early marriage today!

As we approach the FGM Zero Tolerance Day this Saturday the 6th of February, let us recognize the types of FGM. All these types are extremely dangerous and in many cases lead to long term health (both physical and psychological) complications. LET US END FGM TOGETHER!!!
