DON'T MARRY BECAUSE YOU'RE GETTING OLD.
I know what they are telling you.
"Your age is going."
"Your mates have 2 children."
"Who will take care of you when you get old?"
But hear me:
It is better to marry at 40 and be happy, than to marry at 25 and be miserable for 40 years.
Age is just a number, but a wrong marriage is a lifetime prison.
Don't rush into marriage because your birthday is coming.
Don't say "let me just marry anyone, time is going."
A wrong partner will make you age FASTER. Stress, tears, disrespect, and pain will add 10 years to your face.
The world will laugh at you for being single at 35.
But that same world will laugh harder if you marry wrong and divorce at 36.
Why you should NOT marry because of age:
1. Age does not equal readiness. You can be 40 and not ready, you can be 28 and ready.
2. God's calendar is not your calendar. What God has for you will come at the right time.
3. Children are not a reason. You can have children and still be unhappy if the partner is wrong.
4. Marriage does not stop aging. Peace of mind does.
So what should you do while waiting?
Build yourself. Build your money. Build your relationship with God. Travel. Invest. Heal.
When you are whole, the right person will find you - whether at 30, 40, or 50.
Don't marry because time is going. Marry because you have found the right person to spend time with.
Better late than never. Better late than wrong
