Igembe East ward, Njoune.

Today I joined our community members at Njoune in Igembe East Ward for a committee meeting, where we also took time to stand in solidarity with Mwalimu Jacob Nthangari Alias "Uncle" following the heartbreaking loss of his child.

During this difficult moment, we shared words of comfort and offered our condolences, reminding one another of the strength found in unity and community support. May Uncle and his family find peace, comfort, and strength to overcome this painful loss.

Farewell to the ENIGMA— Raila Amollo Odinga 🕯️

Kenya mourns. Africa mourns. The entire world mourns.

Today, we bid farewell to a man whose name is written in the very soul of our nation — Raila Amollo Odinga.

Raila was not just a politician; he was a movement, a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and unyielding belief in freedom and democracy. From the dark days of detention to the dawn of multiparty democracy, he stood tall when many bowed, he spoke truth when others trembled, and he carried the dreams of millions on his back.

He fought for the rights we now enjoy — the right to speak, to assemble, to choose, and to hope.
He was the father of resistance, the engine of reform, and without question, the greatest politician Kenya has ever produced.

But even giants stumble.
In his later years, Raila lost touch with the fire of the youth — the same flame he once carried. On June 25th 2024 , When we , Gen Z, rose to challenge injustice, they expected the father of struggle to stand with them. Instead, he hesitated and joined arms with the oppressors. I hope history will be kind to baba, we will remember this not to diminish him, but to remind us that even heroes are human.

Raila Odinga’s story is the story of Kenya — brilliant, bruised, but unbroken.
May his spirit inspire a new generation to finish what he started — a Kenya truly free, just, and equal for all.

Rest in Power, Baba.
Your legacy lives on — in our voices, our courage, and our endless fight for justice. 🇰🇪🕊️
