Working of Vehicle Air Conditioning system
The vehicle air conditioning (A/C) system works by removing heat from the cabin air and releasing it outside the vehicle using a refrigerant. It operates on the principle of compression, condensation, expansion, and evaporation.
The process begins when the compressor, driven by the engine through a belt, compresses low-pressure refrigerant gas into a high-pressure and high-temperature gas. This hot gas then flows to the condenser located at the front of the vehicle. Air passing through the condenser cools the refrigerant and changes it into a high-pressure liquid.
The liquid refrigerant passes through the receiver/drier, where moisture and impurities are removed. It then flows to the expansion valve or or***ce tube, where its pressure suddenly drops, causing the refrigerant to become very cold.
The cold refrigerant enters the evaporator inside the dashboard. As warm cabin air passes over the evaporator fins, heat is absorbed by the refrigerant, cooling the air before it is blown into the cabin by the blower fan.
The refrigerant then returns to the compressor as a low-pressure gas, and the cycle repeats continuously while the A/C system is operating.

Working Principle of a Car Horn
A car horn is an electrical device used to produce sound for warning other road users. It operates using the principle of electromagnetism.
When the driver presses the horn switch on the steering wheel, electrical current flows from the battery through a fuse and relay to the horn unit. Inside the horn, an electromagnet becomes energized and pulls a metal diaphragm.
As the diaphragm moves, it breaks the electrical contact, causing the electromagnet to lose power. The diaphragm then returns to its original position and reconnects the circuit. This process repeats very rapidly, causing the diaphragm to vibrate continuously.
The rapid vibration of the diaphragm produces sound waves, creating the loud horn sound used to alert pedestrians and other drivers.

Brief Explanation: How to Perform Wheel Alignment
Wheel alignment is the process of adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are set to the manufacturer’s specifications. Proper alignment ensures the vehicle moves straight, improves tyre life, and enhances driving stability.

Step-by-Step Procedure
1. Inspect Tyres and Suspension
◦ Check tyre condition, pressure, and wear.
◦ Inspect suspension parts like ball joints, tie rods, and bushings for damage or looseness.
2. Place the Vehicle on an Alignment Machine
◦ The car is driven onto a wheel alignment machine or ramp.
◦ Sensors or targets are attached to each wheel.
3. Measure Current Wheel Angles
◦ The machine checks three main angles:
▪ Camber (tilt of the wheel inward or outward)
▪ Toe (direction wheels point in or out)
▪ Caster (steering stability angle)
4. Compare with Manufacturer Specifications
◦ The system compares current readings with standard values for that vehicle model.
5. Adjust the Steering Components
◦ Adjust tie rods to correct toe angle.
◦ Adjust suspension parts or struts to correct camber and caster where applicable.
6. Recheck the Alignment
◦ After adjustments, measurements are retaken to ensure all angles are within specification.
7. Test Drive the Vehicle
◦ The vehicle is driven to confirm it moves straight without pulling to one side.

Conclusion
Wheel alignment ensures proper tyre contact with the road, improves safety, reduces tyre wear, and enhances fuel efficiency. It should be checked regularly, especially after hitting potholes or replacing suspension parts.
