25% of women between 18- 40 years are eligible to vote in the coming general election, and another emerging issue is to understand if the political system in Kenya is ready to allow youths to lead?

Mental health and well- being in the political season is a great concern because majority of citizens and aspirants suffer from burnout,stress, political trauma and lack of opportunities for self care.

Taking personal responsibility is important in managing election expectations both, mentally, physically, emotionally and financially.

The Holistic Peer Support Center on 22nd May ,2016 held a community mental health awareness forum in Ongata Rongai. The main aim was to reduce stigma, improve early intervention, build a support system and to reduce isolation in case one is having mental challenges. This forum was attended by the deaf and hearing community to help break barriers that individuals with disability do not have psychological needs. Buiding peer support groups reduces stigma and discrimination in the community.

The main aim of visiting was to promote holistic wellness in the prison.
Holistic wellness supports human dignity by making the environment more safer and manageable. To reduce self harm and violent incidents in the prison. Promoting holistic programs in stress management, communication and financial literacy, promoting Peer Support, individual and group therapy .
