SSWビザの2号試験に不合格で5年の在留期限を経過した場合の救済措置について、
「５年」→「５年を超えて在留することについて相当の理由がある場合にあっては、６年」
2025年9月30日に、入管法施行規則改正されました。

Regarding relief measures for those who failed the SSW Visa Type 2 examination and exceeded the 5-year residence period:
“5 years” → “6 years, if there are reasonable grounds for residing beyond 5 years”

2025年10月中旬以降、
在留資格「経営管理」の申請要件が厳格化されます。

以下要点。

在留資格「経営・管理」について、諸外国における同様の制度等を踏まえ、上陸許可基準等
の見直しに係る所要の措置を講じるもの。

① 申諸に係る事業の規模

常勤の職員の数について1人以上とした上で、資本金の額又は出資の総額について500 万円以上から3, 000 万
円以上に引き上げるとともに、この2点いずれにも該当していることを求めることとする。

② 申請人が次のいずれにも該当していることを求める

・経営管理に関する分野又は申請に係る事業の業務に必要な技術又は知識に係る分野において博士の学位、修士の学位又は専門職学位を有していること。
・事業の経営又は管理について、3年以上の経験を有していること。

③事業計画書について、経営に関する専門的な知識を有する者による評価を受けたものを提出しなければならない。

④事業の規模に係る提出資料について

・当該外国人を除く常勤の職員の総数を明らかにする資料、並びに当該職員に係る賃金支払に関する文書及び住民票、在留カード又は特別永住者証明書の写し
・資本金の額又は出資の総額を明らかにする資料

Starting mid-October 2025,
the application requirements for the “Business Management” residence status will be tightened.

Key points are as follows.

Regarding the “Business Management” residence status, necessary measures will be taken to revise the landing permission criteria, etc., based on similar systems in other countries.

① Scale of the Business

The number of full-time employees must be at least one.
The amount of capital or total investment must be raised from at least 5 million yen to at least 30 million yen.
Both of these points must be met.

② The applicant must meet all of the following requirements:
・Hold a doctoral degree, master's degree, or professional degree in a field related to business management or in a field requiring the technical skills or knowledge necessary for the business operations covered by the application.
・Possess at least three years of experience in the management or administration of a business.

③ A business plan must be submitted that has been evaluated by an individual possessing specialized knowledge in management.

④ Regarding documents submitted concerning the scale of the business:

・Documents clarifying the total number of full-time employees excluding the foreign national in question, along with documents concerning wage payments for said employees and copies of their residence certificates, residence cards, or special permanent resident certificates.
・Documents clarifying the amount of capital or the total amount of investment.
