先日、オアシス21内にある「すまいの窓口」にて、司法書士として専門相談員を担当させていただきました。当日は予約した市民の方が来場され、相続による不動産の名義変更などのご相談が寄せられました。相談者様に喜んでいただけてやりがいを感じますし、同時に様々な学びをさせていただく機会にもなります。中には司法書士としての回答が難しいもの（他の士業の独占業務に関するもの）がありますが、私の答えられる範囲で回答させて頂いております。司法書士になってよかったと実感できるひとときです。今後もこうした機会を通じて、皆さまの暮らしの安心に貢献してまいります。すまいの窓口の職員の方々もとても親切な方々です。住宅関係でお悩みの方はご利用されてはいかがでしょうか。
I recently had the opportunity to serve as a legal advisor at Sumai no Madoguchi, located in Oasis 21, as a solicitor. On the day of the event, local residents who had made prior appointments came in for consultations, many of which involved topics such as changing the name on property titles due to inheritance.
It was a truly rewarding experience to see how grateful the visitors were, and at the same time, it provided me with valuable learning opportunities. While there were a few questions that fell outside the scope of a solicitor’s duties—those reserved for other licensed professionals—I did my best to respond sincerely within the limits of my expertise.
Moments like these remind me how meaningful it is to be a judicial scrivener. I hope to continue contributing to the peace of mind of our community through opportunities like this. I’d also like to extend my appreciation to the kind staff members at Sumai no Madoguchi. If you have any concerns related to housing, I encourage you to make use of their excellent services.

Consultation on Overseas Inheritance and Wills
Recently, we have received inquiries from clients who own assets abroad or have family members with foreign nationality. When local legal procedures are required, the process can become highly complex. In addition to translation and obtaining various official documents, legal fees for overseas attorneys can also be costly, often making it a long-term process.

最近、近所にお住まいの方からのご依頼が増えており、本当にうれしく思っています。相続登記や不動産売買が多かったです。
先日は、とってもかわいいお客さんが来てくれました。小学生の男の子です。
お母さんと連絡がとれないとのこと。まずその小さいお客さんにお菓子をお出ししました。食べながらタブレットで動画を見て時間を過ごしてもらいました。1時間ほどで、無事お母さんに迎えに来てもらいました。お母さんも、日々の育児でお疲れだったのでしょう。お役に立てて良かったです。
「困ったときに頼れる事務所」として、地元の皆さまに愛される存在であり続けたいと考えています。時にはこんなお客さんも、大歓迎です。お気軽にご相談ください。
Lately, we've been receiving more requests from people in our neighborhood, and we couldn’t be happier. Most of them have been related to inheritance registrations and real estate transactions.
The other day, we had a very special visitor—a little elementary school boy.
He came to our office because he couldn't get in touch with his mother. Seeing how worried he was, we first offered him some snacks. While enjoying his treats, he watched videos on a tablet and spent some time relaxing. After about an hour, his mother was able to come pick him up safely. She must have been exhausted from her daily parenting duties, so we were glad we could help in some way.
We strive to be an office that our local community can always rely on in times of need. And sometimes, that includes welcoming little visitors like him! Feel free to reach out to us anytime.

2月も半分が過ぎました。大寒の1月よりも、寒い日が多かった印象です。
先日、自筆証書遺言のご相談も頂きました。文案を作成したので見てほしい、とのこと。お客様の大切な最後のお言葉を見せて頂けて、大変うれしく思います。
単に有効かどうかのチェックではなく、お客様と残されたご家族にとって最善となるよう、尽力させていただきます。何度かお打合せをして、納得のいくものを一緒に作っていきましょう。
数年前から自筆証書遺言の法務局保管制度が始まりました。とはいえ、司法書士としては、まずは公正証書遺言をお勧めしたいところです。公正証書遺言の方が確実かつ円滑に遺言を執行できるためです。制度の詳細はまたいつかお話しますね。
Half of February has already passed. Compared to January, which had the coldest days of the year, I feel that there have been even more chilly days this month.

The other day, I received a consultation regarding a holographic (handwritten) will. The client had drafted a will and asked me to review it. I truly appreciate the opportunity to read such important final words from my client.
Rather than simply checking its validity, I strive to ensure that the will serves the best interests of both the client and their loved ones. Through multiple discussions, we will work together to create a document that brings peace of mind.
A few years ago, Japan introduced a Legal Affairs Bureau Storage System for Holographic Wills. However, I still strongly recommend a notarial will. Notarial wills ensure greater certainty and a smoother ex*****on process. I’ll share more details about this system another time.
