Rachel has dealt with all aspects of costs work relating to contentious and non-contentious work and both criminal and civil litigation. Prior to setting up RLH, Rachel worked in-house for a number of leading Jersey law firms including Mourant, the Bedell Group and Bailhache Labesse, now part of the Appleby Global Group. Rachel works on a contract basis for the Attorney General of Jersey dealing w

ith costs claims issued against the Crown and has prepared numerous bills on behalf of Crown Advocates in respect of successful criminal prosecutions. Rachel has also had experience in a paralegal role in litigation and personal law departments, dealing with various aspects of court proceedings. Such experience gives her an insight into the actual litigation processes which informs her costs work.
