Our Property Team has a long-standing reputation for expertise in residential and commercial matters, including leases, share transfers, freehold and flying freehold transactions, and property financing.

We are seeking a qualified lawyer with 5+ years’ PQE and strong experience in Jersey property law. This is an opportunity to work on a broad range of Property matters (including advising on leases, managing share transfer, freehold and flying freehold transactions and dealing with property financing, in both residential and commercial matters), support business development, and mentor junior colleagues within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Voisin Law LLP is delighted to announce the promotion of Frances Littler to Partner.

Frances joined Voisin in 2013, after having been enrolled on the firm’s successful Bursary Scheme since 2008. She qualified as an English Solicitor in 2015, from which time she focused her practice on Dispute Resolution. Frances was admitted as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in 2019.

Thanks to William Church for organising meetings for Julian De la Cour to catch up with key contacts at several of the leading law firms over the last couple of months to answer questions they had about the role we play in arranging funerals and funerals in general.

The list of people we visited includes Simon Lofthouse at Corbett Le Quesne, Henry Wickham from Ogier , Marianne Shaw at Le Gallais & Luce, Clare Nicolle from Preston Legal, Zoe Blomfield from Viberts and Angela Roscouet from Voisin Law.

We had some very interesting discussions about the importance of planning ahead to help alleviate work and stress for those that remain.

Julian and team are always happy to welcome visitors to our office to discuss processes and procedures, to talk through our 'Lasting wishes' form and to reiterate the point that we will always go the extra mile to accommodate what you want.

A coloured coffin, cartoon characters, music and videos, our coloured hearse and various different modes of transport are all things that we will happily accommodate where possible!
