Last week I had the privilege of being hosted at Munich Urban Colab, one of Europe’s most dynamic innovation hubs where startups, researchers, corporates, and institutions come together to shape the future of our cities.

Visiting this unique ecosystem was an inspiring opportunity to connect with an international environment where ideas, entrepreneurship, and technology converge. Experiences like this reinforce my commitment to fostering cross-border collaboration and open up new perspectives for building bridges between Italy and the wider European innovation landscape.

On November 14, 2024, Brussels hosted the launch event for "The New Space Age - Legal and Policy Perspectives", a groundbreaking book that sets a new benchmark in space law and policy literature. This masterpiece has been crafted with the collaboration of 27 distinguished authors from across Europe, all renowned experts in their fields.

We are proud to share that Gregorio Salatimo was among the contributors to this extraordinary publication. His chapter, "Security and Defence Implications of Earth Observation" (pg. 553), explores critical topics such as the use of satellites for intelligence gathering during peacetime and their strategic role in guiding weapons during warfare.

The event brought together leading minds in the space law community, fostering enriching discussions about the future of space governance.

🌟Exciting News for Venture Capital Enthusiasts!🌟

I'm thrilled to announce that my study, titled "Un'introduzione al Venture Capital," will be published in the 3/2024 issue of Giurisprudenza Commerciale. This study delves into the intricacies of venture capital transactions and the typical clauses found in these contracts (see the index in the photo below). I also explore lesser-studied implementation methods, such as the so-called "convertendo".

This contribution is part of the research I conducted last year at Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches und internationales Privatrecht (Vielen Dank nochmals für die unvergessliche Erfahrung an Ihrem Institut!)
