What is Intellectual Property?
Intellectual Property (IP) is the property which is created as a result of person's intellect. It is a creation of person's mind and exertion of his mental faculties. The background of IP can be traced to the development of knowledge based and knowledge intensive industries where the assets or the foundation of the company depends on an idea which is creatively expressed and brought to life by the promoter / creator / inventor.
