क्या सक्सेसफुल होने की कोई टाइमलाइन होती है? कतई नहीं।

मुझे लगता है कि हमारी सोसायटी की तरफ से आज के यूथ पर काफी प्रेशर रहता है कि वो जल्दी से जल्दी अपने करियर में शुरूआती झंडे गाड़ दें। मेरी कई ऐसे युवाओं से बात हुई जिन्हें बस इस बात का डर सताता है कि कहीं सफलता की ट्रेन छूट तो नहीं जाएगी! क्या वो तीस साल के होने से पहले खुद को सफल प्रूव कर सकेंगे!

क्यूंकि मैंने जीवन में कई असफलताएँ देखी हैं - एक नहीं, दो नहीं, बल्कि 9 बार - मैं इसे समझ सकता हूँ। मैंने निराशा कितनी ही बार झेली, अपने उन विचारों को रिजेक्ट होते देखा जो मेरी नजर में बेस्ट थॉट थे। बंद होने की कगार पर खड़ी फैक्टरियों में रात - रात भर जागने से लेकर अगले दिन कुछ बचेगा भी या नहीं... इतना सोच लेने तक, मैंने अपने 20 और 30 वाली उम्र में बहुत संघर्ष किया

फिर आया चालीस का दशक। अब मेरे पास एक्सपीरियंस भरपूर था और सिर पे बाल कम ही बचे थे। उस समय, जब सभी ने सोचा होगा कि में हार मान चुका हूं, चालीस की उम्र में मैंने पहली बार सफलता का स्वाद चखा। जिन विचारों को कभी डिसमिस किया गया था, उन्हीं विचारों की अब तारीफ होने लगी।

सार यही है कि, खुद की सोच पर भरोसा रखें, तब भी जब दूसरे उस सोच पर हँस रहे हों। हार को जीत की तरफ ले जाने वाली सीढ़ी मानें। खरगोश और कछुए की कहानी याद है ना! धीमे ही सही, लगातार चलते रहने पर आप रेस जीत सकते हैं।
