Inverted Duty Structure: Industry associations, including those from Gujarat and Eastern India, have highlighted that recent changes to the GST created an inverted duty structure.
The GST on finished corrugated boxes was reduced to 5%.
The GST on key raw materials (kraft paper and board) was raised to 18%.
