National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi is facing administrative abuse of power where the first phase of peaceful protest took place between 10th Apr - 13th Apr 2017, where the students agitated against the incompetent administration and its non-transparent functioning.

The administration and students came to an agreement to end that protest on 13th Apr 2017, coming to a consensus where the relevant authorities promised visible changes within 3 months such as External Audit; Up-gradation of facilities ( As barely necessities are met whilst being the costliest NLU in terms of fee charged); providing competent teaching faculty and appointment of a competent vice chancellor removing the old. "Also taking permission to re-stage the protest in case students' demands aren't met in a stipulated time period."

Even as we speak in Mid September; their demands are hanging mid-air 5 months. With partial developments taking place serving as pacifiers in their mouths. On rekindling the fire, the Vice Chancellor threatens entire student fraternity of 500-600 students.

The National seminar on environmental laws was successfully conducted today. The seminar saw participation from various universities including NLSIU Bangalore over 4 technical sessions. Each technical session witnessed around 11 paper presentations. Paper presentations also took place over Skype for those who couldn't make it.
Thanking everyone who helped in the conduction of this seminar.
