(My great-grandfather Pessumal was Sanskrit scholar, he used to write in-depth meaning and explanation of Shaloks etc. By profession, he was a criminal lawyer. Grandfather was hard worker, loved to present well known stories (Mahabharat, Ramayan, Bhagwat, Guru Nanaik Jeevni etc) in his very lucid Sindhi, publish those in "Granth" form. I am able to present things as they are in pleasant manner, using today's writing mode....

Eggs Experiment: Some eat food to live for, Some live to eat food. I came across the following note, written by me in 2016, when we had just shifted to Pune. This makes it abundantly clear that I belong to the second category of people. We had made 45 Gulab Jamuns expecting those to last till Sunday. Out of 5 family members, two hardly love sweet, they accept sweets only on birthdays, I am presently in weight control mode and trying to reduce my weight by few kilo’s, Muskan is also fighting battle of bulge, so much so that she has started climbing five floors, this left Akshay, who is not one to gorge the sweets, like his mother, he also does not have sweet teeth....

This is my very first picture: Nearly SEVENTY years back! And as January is loaded heavily towards birthdays (14 in extended family), here are some "birth " stories. Today also there is this clinic called "Kashibai Hospital" in Santa Cruz west, Mumbai whose owner was or maybe is today also, famous actress Asha Parekh.
