“Siddhi” meaning supernatural powers or meditative abilities
“Dhatri” meaning the giver or bestower
So, Maa Siddhidatri is the Goddess who grants all types of Siddhis (spiritual powers) to her devotees.
🔱 Summary of Maa Siddhidatri:
Appearance: She sits on a lotus flower (sometimes shown on a lion) and has four arms.
She holds a chakra (discus), shankh (conch), mace (gada), and lotus.
Vehicle (Vahana): Lion (sometimes depicted on a lotus)

She removed the darkness from the universe during creation.
She is also said to have given Lord Shiva the Ardhanarishwar form (half man, half woman).

Maa Mahagauri is the eighth form of Goddess Durga, worshipped on the eighth day (Ashtami) of Navratri. Her name means:
“Maha” = great
“Gauri” = white or fair
So, Mahagauri means “extremely fair or radiant”.
🔱 Summary of Maa Mahagauri:
Appearance: Maa Mahagauri has a radiant, pure white complexion. She rides a white bull (named Nandi), wears white clothes, and has four hands — holding a trident (Trishul) and damaru (small drum), while the other two are in Abhaya (protection) and Varada (blessing) mudras.
Symbolism: She symbolizes purity, peace, wisdom, and austerity. Worshipping her is said to purify the soul and remove all past sins and karmic burdens.
Origin Story:
According to Hindu mythology, Goddess Parvati underwent severe penance to obtain Lord Shiva as her husband. Due to her long and intense tapasya, her body became dark and rough.
Pleased by her devotion, Shiva purified her with the holy Ganga, and she regained her original form — radiant, white, and beautiful — and was named Mahagauri.
Significance in Navratri:
On the eighth day of Navratri, devotees worship Mahagauri to gain inner peace, spiritual growth, and relief from suffering.
She is believed to fulfill all desires and help devotees attain moksha (liberation).

Maa Katyayani is one of the nine forms of the Hindu goddess Durga, worshipped on the sixth day of Navratri. She is a fierce and powerful form of Shakti, symbolizing courage, righteousness, and the destroyer of evil.
According to Hindu mythology, Rishi Katyayan, a great sage, performed intense penance to have the goddess as his daughter. Pleased with his devotion, the goddess took birth in his home as Katyayani. Hence, she is known as Maa Katyayani.
She is most famously known for killing the demon Mahishasura, who had become a threat to the heavens. The gods created her by combining their divine energies to defeat him, making her one of the most formidable manifestations of Durga.
Iconography:
