1. Chhattisgarh Governor Shekhar Dutt has stepped down from his post, two days after the Centre asked some of the Governors appointed by the previous UPA government to quit.

2. India-born plant scientist Sanjaya Rajaram has been named the winner of the USD 250,000 World Food Prize for his breakthrough achievement in increasing global wheat production by more than 200 million tonnes following the Green Revolution.

भारत में जन्मे वनस्पति वैज्ञानिक संजय राजाराम को हरित क्रांति के बाद वैश्विक गेहूं उत्पादन में 20 करोड़ टन से अधिक वृद्धि में योगदान देने के लिए प्रतिष्ठित विश्व खाद्य पुरस्कार से सम्मानित करने की घोषणा की गयी है। पुरस्कार राशि के तौर पर उन्हें 2,50,000 डॉलर मिलेंगे।

As we all know, SBI PO Exam-2014 flagged off on 14th June, 2014. It will span over a period of four weeks, ending on 6th July, 2014.

The test was divided into two parts - Objective Test and Descriptive Test.
