Important Instructions Regarding the Quarantine plan of Yorkville University

For BC and ON, the Quarantine Plan (QP) both cost $2500. Both include an $1100 bursary should the student abide by the rules, stay in the hotel, and stay enrolled the next term. Both plans meet the new Government of Canada requirement for a three-day stay at a GAA hotel and then the remaining 11 days at a safe quarantine location. They may also include three meals daily and transportation. We also ask students to pay upfront for their health insurance plan with StudyInsured, which costs $615. New students need to pay for this upfront. Returning students may need to pay additional fees before we release any supporting documentation. We confirm this when they initially e-mail us.

There are additional testing requirements for students arriving in Ontario due to government requirements. As a result, the Ontario QP team is asking students to arrive on particular dates. If students book outside the recommended dates, there will be a surcharge of $115 due to additional testing costs we need to pay on behalf of the student. We strongly recommend students do not book their flights until they check in with us to avoid this charge.

There is just one slight difference to mention as well. In BC their total plan is 14 nights, in Ontario, our total plan is 15 nights to accommodate for a final COVID-19 test at the end.
