In a significant decision, the Punjab and Haryana High Court held that a Muslim Boy or Girl over the 15 years of age attains majority and have the right to marry whoever they want.

It also granted protection to the couple under Article 21 of the Constitution. The girl was a Muslim aged 17 years and the man was a Hindu aged 33 years.

In order to enforce a Will that has been made by a Non-Resident India (NRI) outside India in a foreign Jurisdiction, the will must be probated in the country where it was made. Once the probate of the will is complete, an application can be made to the Indian Courts for enforcement of the Will.

Remedy if your OCI card is revoked:

If the card is revoked by the agencies, an application can be filed under Section 15 of the Citizenship Act before the Ministry of Home Affairs.

If the application is rejected, a petition can be filed before the High Court.
