Subject matter being, result of School of open learning was awaited and as per procedure of Law Faculty they were late in their admission formalities. The writ secured future of these students from School of Open Learning, as it was held that delay in previous result procedure should not be a constraint of future zeal. In 2012, Abhi Pratap’s complaint threw light on the lack of campus infrastructure that can be a cause of discouragement for differently abled brothers and sisters. His complaint was appreciated. Ramp construction is a part of proposal. Doors of the washrooms were widened to let the wheel chairs have their way. Abhishek Singh Pratap, interned under Adv. Nahad ahmed in 2013. In the same year, Indian young Lawyers’ Association was also initiated by him. ‘Helpdesk,’ was another initiative by Abhi Pratap to guide Delhi Law Faculty aspirants with their entrance examination. The guidance didn’t end with the end of the entrance exam, but continued even after the aspirants successfully became a part of the Law faculty. When the unfortunate Muzaffarpur riots obliterated lives of citizens, a fact finding team lead by Abhi Pratap prepared a report, which later based a discourse for a press conference. The same planted a Public Interest Litigation, which is being fought by Adv. Ram Jethmalani and Adv. Rajiv Dhawan. He questioned the long duration gaps in between the lectures. Classes are stretched till 3:30pm. According to him, this doesn’t give a student enough scope to carry other productive activities thereby limiting his full potential. January 2014, He was awarded with the ‘Certificate of Merit,’ for his selfless dedication as a part of Delhi University Students Union. Friday, June 13th 2014, ‘The Daily Pioneer’ news report concluded with Abhi Pratap’s expressed satisfaction that the distribution of dirt in the name of package drinking water came to an end in the North Campus. Issue was raised when garden tap water was distributed in the campus under labels by a contractor, who was later black listed from his business in the campus
