Hi Guys,

GameChanger Law Advisors and The Hive Collaborative Workspaces are collaborating for an interactive legal workshop for members working out of The Hive, VR Chennai, on May 23, 2019 and May 24, 2019.

On the first day of this collaborative venture May 23, 2019, GLA’s Senior Associate Priya Sampath will conduct a legal-aid clinic where she will provide preliminary legal advice to members.

On the second day, May 24, 2019, Priya will conduct a legal workshop on decoding term sheets and best practices during funding where she will explain the basic aspects of investment from the different stages of it to commonly used instruments. She will also break down legal jargon associated with investments and explain key investor rights. The session is aimed at educating founders about investment transactions and providing an insight into the legal nuances of investment transactions which will in turn help them in understanding and negotiating terms sheets and transaction documents!

The event is intended to provide an insight into the legal nuances of investment processes and other business procedures, and we are excited to meet the attendees and make law more accessible!
