Supreme Court of India should act proactively to maintain judicial integrity and judicial values more strong. Otherwise entire edifice of Judicial structure will be destroyed. Recent episodes giving favours to favourites is dangerous trend which is antitheses to free and fair judicial system.

Today Prime Minister of India gave a target to make India a developed Country by 2047. He further stressed about delivering speedy justice. This is all a vibrant thinking but still lot needs to be done in the field of law and Indian judicial system. Cases are pending since last more than 30 years in Supreme Court of India and all other Courts in the Country. No serious effort in this direction. All Tribunals in India are working with miniscule strength. Even existing vacancies are lying vacant, leave the increase in number of judges in the Country, which is need of hour. The Government should be first fill the vacancies in the Judiciary only then it may talk about justice in the country.

Less number of judges means less disposal therefore arrears in courts will increase day by day. Emergent need of appointment of judges as per ratio of population at least 100 judges per 10 lakh population.

Real democracy will come when we have fair and speedy Judicial remedies. Efforts should be made to end pendency and arrears of cases. Faith in the Judiciary should be restored on an urgent basis.

For Lawyers' Supreme Court Collegeum is the best system to appointment judges in the High Court and the Supreme Court of India, what more is required, if some more transparent and fair mechanism to appoint the Judges is adopted by the Collegeum.
This is not in the interest of Lawyers and Judiciary that Legislators or Ministers choose the judges.

Time has come to fight against son, brother, uncle, relative and family syndrome claspping the system. there is need to enact Fair and Equal Opportunities Act which shall provide equal treatment to all irrespective of his being family members of any Politician, Judge or Executive Officer. Otherwise entire democratic edific is going to collapse and there is chance of class struggle in the Country. Talents of our younger generation are becoming useless due to the menace of family, clan and relation politicis pervaded in all sections of life.
