आज एक व्यक्ति द्वारा प्रश्न किया गया प्रश्न था "मुझे अपनी माँ से कानूनी रूप से रिश्ता तोड़ना है, मुझे क्या करना पड़ेगा? मैंने पूछा आप हिन्दू है या मुसलमान? उत्तर मिला मैं हिन्दू हूँ। मेरा मानना है कि सवाल सामान्यतः गलत नहीं होता है, अतः उत्तर तो देना ही होगा। मैंने उत्तर दिया :- रिश्ता दो प्रकार का होता है खून का रिश्ता और वैवाहिक रिश्ता। कानून केवल और केवल वैवाहिक रिश्ता तोड़ने की अनुमति देता है और वह भी न्यायिक आदेश से। खून का रिश्ता तोड़ने की अनुमति कानून नहीं देता है। अतः आप अपनी माँ से रिश्ता नहीं तोड़ सकते है।
