Attorney General of India on behalf of Govt of India have today informed the Hon Supreme Court that the deadline for mandatory linking of Aadhaar card to avail social benefits will be extended till December 31. Thus the mandatory linking of Aadhaar with PAN is also extended to 31st December 2017 .

The Hon Supreme court also agreed to list the petitions challenging validity of Aadhaar in first week of November 2017.
