(1) Dear member, the administrative committee of the Bombay High Court had convened a meeting with all High Court Bar associations today, viz on 31/12/21
(2) The Addl Commissioner , MCGM, Mr Kakani and Dr Ramaswamy , Heath Commissionet from the State Government were present in this meeting . In their briefing , they mentioned that there is an alarming rise in the number of infections, although the State and MCGM are well positioned to tackle the present rise of cases . Further it was mentioned that it is necessary for all concerned to follow all covid related safety protocols including wearing of two layers of masks.
(3) The Administrative Committee informed the members of the bar associations that from Tuesday 4th January, 2022, Court hearing will be held on hybrid basis in the principal Bench till 8th January 2022. Mentionings physically will not be permitted on Monday 3rd January 2022 unless there is extremely urgency. From Tuesday 4th January, 2022, Circulations will be permitted by sending the precipie by email. In cases involving extreme urgency , mentioning will be permitted physically or pon the hybrid platform. Entry of litigants will be restricted. It was agreed that an appeal be made to the members of the bar that unless it is absolutely necessary juniors, interns are requested not to attend courts physically.
