In a recent matter, the Special POCSO Court, Dindoshi granted bail to a 38-year-old woman accused of child trafficking, who had been in custody for nearly 3 years. Despite the charge sheet being filed in 2022 and charges framed in 2024, not a single witness had been examined by the prosecution. The court rightly observed the prolonged pre-trial incarceration and the hardship of her 7-year-old daughter, and granted bail with conditions.

This order is not just a victory in one case—it reflects the importance of persistent advocacy and fighting for justice.

Mumbai News: Special POCSO Court Grants Bail To 38-Year-Old Woman Accused Of Child Trafficking After 3 Years In Custody

The special Prevention of Children Against Sexual Offences Act (POCSOA) court at Dindoshi has granted bail to a 38-year-old woman arrested in 2022 on alleged charges of child trafficking. This was the third bail application filed by the accused, which was finally allowed by the Sessions Court.

अगर आप किसी मजबूरी की वजह से अपने केस की सुनवाई पर कोर्ट नहीं जा पा रहे हैं, तो घबराएं नहीं!

ऐसे में आप ‘Exemption Application’ यानी अनुपस्थिति की अर्ज़ी लगाकर कोर्ट से गैरहाज़िर रहने की इजाज़त ले सकते हैं।"

इस अर्ज़ी में अपनी मजबूरी का कारण साफ-साफ बताएं और अगर संभव हो तो मेडिकल या कोई और सपोर्टिंग डॉक्युमेंट भी लगाएं।"

बिना बताए कोर्ट न जाना आपके खिलाफ BW/NBW (Bailable or Non-Bailable Warrant) जारी होने का कारण बन सकता है।
इसलिए ज़िम्मेदारी से पेश आएं, और ज़रूरत पड़ने पर कानूनन सही तरीका अपनाएं।
