Beyond the formal sessions, the offsite revealed another side of leadership at C B V and Associates - one rooted in connection, ease, and shared moments. From spontaneous singing and friendly games to unplanned, candid conversations, leaders came together in ways that went far beyond titles and roles.

Set in the serene lap of nature, these lighter moments helped build trust, warmth, and unbreakable bonds. Laughter flowed easily, barriers dissolved naturally, and what stood out was a deep sense of belonging. Because strong cultures are not built only in meeting rooms - they are built when people truly connect, unwind, and grow together.

CBV Leadership Offsite | Unstoppable

The leadership offsite at CBV and Associates began with focused conversations on direction, alignment, and the road ahead.

Stepping away from day-to-day operations allowed our leaders to reflect with clarity, exchange perspectives, and align on priorities that will shape the firm’s next phase of growth.

The formal sessions reinforced a shared belief: being unstoppable is not about moving fast, but about moving forward together.

Grounded in trust, purpose, and a strong culture, these discussions helped reaffirm our collective commitment.

A committment to build thoughtfully, lead responsibly, and grow as one unified leadership team.

The GST story for January 2026 continues to gather momentum. Gross collections rose a healthy 6.2% YoY to ~₹1.93 lakh crore, reflecting a steady climb after an uneven start to the year. Net revenues at ~₹1.71 lakh crore were supported by improved inflows, even as domestic consumption showed only gradual recovery.

Once again, imports carried the load, underscoring their growing role in GST buoyancy. Across states, the picture remained mixed - strong performances in large industrial states offset by pockets of stress elsewhere. Taken together, the breadth of collections and sequential improvement suggest that GST momentum is quietly but decisively strengthening.

Art from Chaos' was a thoughtfully curated creative experience organised for our team - using art as a medium for reflection, alignment, and self-discovery.

Organised in collaboration with Happyhikkups, 40 participants engaged with personalised themes and translated them into canvas artworks that represented their dreams, wishes, and goals. The session reinforced a powerful insight: when teams are given space to pause and create, chaos can transform into clarity, purpose, and direction.

December GST collections signal a return to normalcy, indicating that the transient impact of GST rate rationalisation has largely tapered off. Gross GST collections for the month stood at approximately ₹1.75 lakh crore, registering a 6.1% year-on-year growth and reflecting steady economic momentum.

A key highlight was the strong growth in IGST from imports, pointing to improved trade activity, while domestic GST collections showed relatively moderate expansion. Producing states continued to contribute a significant share, underscoring regionally balanced economic activity. Overall, the December numbers reaffirm stable compliance levels and a resilient GST framework supporting sustained revenue growth.

The November GST collection report was highly anticipated to gauge the real impact of the recent rate revisions, and as expected, the November outturn reflects a visible cooling in momentum. Collections stood at ₹1.70 lakh crore, rising just 0.7% YoY - one of the softest prints this fiscal.

Domestic GST contracted 2.3%, signalling subdued consumption and slower activity in core sectors, while import-led inflows grew over 10%, cushioning the headline number. With refunds steady and compliance holding up, the data points to a transitional phase in the GST regime, where the domestic demand cycle remains weak and a meaningful recovery may take a few more months to materialise.
