I am Shane Cardoz, Managing Trustee & Founder member of Clifford Carmen Foundation. I completed my graduation from Andrews College, Bandra west, (B.Com) in the year 1997. Thereafter, I completed my L.L.B from Advani Law College, Bandra west in 2002. I am a lawyer by profession, specialized in the field of property laws and laws relating to crimes against women and children.I started
my career from a legal firm in Mumbai in the year 2002. Social work is my passion - and in my personal capacity, I have worked for the following causes:
Fought for justice, especially in favour of women in distress & against harassment to senior citizens and children;;
Fought against the powerful DRUG MAFIA in Bandra West,
Filed PIL in Bombay High Court, against illegal construction on footpath, with the help of CROSS organization;
Fought against illegal shops and stalls over public open water drains;
Fought recently against the illegal act of Medical store viz. Metro Medical, opposite Babha Hospital, Bandra (west), for charging over the MRP;
Sponsored girl children for Karate Classes & children to attend Dance Classes for economically backward children; and carried out medical expenses for senior citizens;
Served Senior Citizens, Sick & Handicapped Children during the 8 days of Bandra Feast from 14th to 21st September 2014, by providing Free Car Service;
Fought against the Bandra Police Station for barricading Cement Road, during the Bandra Fair, was active along with the other concerned groups;
Fought against the illegal ramp constructed at Cement Road, by Shahrukh Khan;
Fought against illegal parking with the help of CROSS organization, at Kadeshwari Mandir Road, Bandra West. Helping and facilitating children from the slums, for education; by advising and guiding them in their studies. Filed PIL against BMC to increase the stalls at the Bandra Fair. Protested against people who filed PIL in High Court, to stop the Bandra Fair.
