We are proud to announce that we have successfully concluded the ‘Practice Perspective Webinar Series 2020’ on September 20, 2020.

The webinar series was conducted with an aim to provide law students and aspiring lawyers some insights into the various practice areas of law. Our idea was to enable young students make better decisions regarding their career based on first hand experience shared by several speakers in their respective fields of law.

The different topics covered in the webinars were Dispute Resolution, Real Estate Laws, Criminal Laws, Corporate Litigation, IPR, Media & Sports laws and Corporate & Commercial laws.

We had a total of over 300 participants in the course of six webinars spanned out over a period of three weeks of September 2020.

We hope that it was an enriching experience for all those who participated. We would like to thank all our speakers for removing their valuable time for this webinar and a special mention to Miss. Siddhi Shah for designing the media theme and backdrops for each webinar posts.

Henal is currently working as an associate at Krishnamurthy and Co since 2018 having worked as a paralegal at the same firm for 11 months. She handles cases relating to general corporate, mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. Some of the landmark transactions that Henal has handled is assisting Healthcare Global Enterprises in raising $83 million from CVC Capital Partners and she has also acted as a legal counsel for Bijak’s fund raise of $12 million. She has previously interned at Dave and Girish, Wadia Ghandy and Naik Naik & Co.

2) Gaurav Sharma
Gaurav is the co-founder of Amicus Attorney and is currently working as an articled clerk at Khaitan & Co and is preparing for the solicitor's exam. He handles general corporate, M&A, private equity transactions, advisory and opinions. He has previously interned at Desai and Diwanji, Agama Legal, Singhania and Co., Lawhive Assoc. and Dharam & Co.

2) Manan Agrawal
Manan is the CO-founder of Amicus Attorney and currently working in the media and entertainment non litigation department at Naik Naik & Co., having previously interned at the firm as well. Along with media, Manan also dabbles in sports law and has been selected as a mentee for LawInSport’s inaugural Academy Mentoring Scheme and is being mentored by the CEO of LawInSport.

2) Aayush Kothari
(PGCL Batch 2014-2019, Aayush is currently working at SR Legal. He handles commercial litigation which includes securities law, white collar crimes, bankruptcy and arbitration. Some of the landmark cases that Aayush is currently involved in are the Satyam scam, the NSEL scam, the Chanda Kochar case and the CG Power case. He has also secured admission in the LLM Programme at Georgetown University which is scheduled to begin in January 2021. Apart from law, Aayush has also dabbled in trading as a bolt operator at Choice Equity).
