Did you know that the Government of Canada regularly holds draws for candidates in the Express Entry pool to apply for permanent residence? These draws, called "CRS draws," are based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which ranks candidates based on factors such as age, work experience, education, and language skills.
If you are in the Express Entry pool and have a high CRS score, you may be invited to apply for permanent residence through a CRS draw. The Government of Canada holds CRS draws on a regular basis, and the minimum CRS score required to be invited to apply can vary from draw to draw.
If you are invited to apply through a CRS draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence, including all required documents and fees. Processing times for Express Entry applications are usually much faster than for other immigration programs, with most applications being processed within six months or less.
If you are considering immigrating to Canada through the Express Entry program, it's a good idea to keep an eye on the CRS draws and make sure your profile is as competitive as possible. Good luck!
