UAE: New 5-Year Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa Application Procedure

Families with children under 18 are eligible to apply for the five-year visa, which allows holders to stay in the UAE for up to 90 days at a time.

A new procedure for issuing tourist visas to family groups travelling to the United Arab Emirates has just been established by the Federal Authority for Identification, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) (UAE).

In accordance with the new visa procedure, families can now apply collectively for a multiple-entry tourist visa rather than submitting individual applications for each member. The new method has been well-received by families, as it simplifies the application procedure and saves time and effort.

The Previous Visa Process
Formerly, if a family member wanted to travel to the UAE on a tourist visa, they each had to submit a separate application and the same set of supporting documentation.

This implied that applications and accompanying documentation had to be sent separately even if a family was travelling together. That took a long time and was inconvenient, especially for families with young children.

New Family Visa Application Procedure
Families can now use the ICP website to apply together for a multiple-entry tourist visa under the revised visa procedure. This approach is substantially more effective because it streamlines the application procedure and does away with the requirement that each family member submit a separate application and supporting documentation.

The New System's Advantages
The new method offers families visiting the UAE a number of benefits. Beneficiaries of the five-year multiple-entry visa may remain in the nation for up to 90 days at a time.

This makes it possible for families to organise their visits and go on last-minute vacations without worrying about applying for visas.

Also, the new approach does away with the requirement for a local sponsor, making it simpler for families to submit visa applications on their own.

Bottomline
It is a positive development that makes the application procedure simpler and enables families to organise their trips more effectively that the ICP has implemented a new method for issuing tourist visas to family groups travelling to the UAE. Families can visit the UAE on several occasions without having to worry

The new method also supports Dubai's initiatives to increase tourism and strengthen the regional economy.

How Mobile App Reduces Passport Time in DELHI
The mPassport Police app is set to make the passport police verification process completely digital by eliminating cumbersome documents and reducing the processing time from 15 days to just five days.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs introduced the "mPassport Police app", which now digitizes the process of sending the police control report to the regional authority, to reduce the time spent on police checks of passport applicants in the capital. Passport Office (RPO).

A press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that as a result, all transmission of police checks and reports will become digital and paperless. "The approval time from 15 days to five days is a big step towards improving services to citizens," said Abhishek Dubey, Regional Passport Officer.

in passport offices and that "their online processing will reduce human problems".
Commissioner of Police Rajneesh Gupta said earlier that it takes a maximum of 15 days to clear the police check and return to the regional passport office and the new agency will reduce that considerably. "Earlier, documents came from the passport office to the Delhi Police Bhawan and were handed over as hard copies to officials at various levels, leading to the possibility of errors and data entry," Gupta said.
