SUCCESSFUL RESCUE & RELEASE – BONDED LABOURERS FREED IN HARYANA
A powerful step toward justice and human dignity.

Today, with the intervention of the District Administration,
bonded labourers who were illegally confined and exploited at a brick kiln in Haryana have been successfully rescued and released.

Law Power Association had filed a detailed legal complaint highlighting violations under the **Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Minimum Wages Act, Inter-State Migrant Workmen Act, and the **SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989

Following due process, authorities conducted action leading to the safe release of the workers.

What the Workers Faced

The rescued labourers were:

* Trapped under illegal bonded debt created through advance payments
* Denied full wages and basic labour rights
* Living without proper food, sanitation, electricity, or medical care
* Subjected to threats, intimidation, and physical abuse
* Prevented from freely returning to their native state

Such conditions amount to **forced labour and modern slavery**, prohibited under Article 23 of the Constitution of India.

We sincerely thank the District Administration for taking timely action and upholding the rule of law.

Bonded labour is not merely exploitation — it is an assault on human dignity.

We remain committed to ensuring that every worker lives and works in freedom.

If you witness bonded labour or trafficking, report it. Your voice can save lives.
