The jury in the high profile finally delivered its decision. The Jury found that actress had made defamatory claims of abuse against her ex-husband and awarded him $15 million in damages. Precisely, the jury awarded Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. Heard was also awarded $2 million in compensatory damages and no punitive damages.
The seven-member jury in Virginia found that a 2018 article penned by Heard on the "sexual violence" she had suffered was defamatory to Depp, and was written with malicious intent -- making her guilty of libel.

The thrilling & dramatic updates on Tejinder Bagga’s case- all you need to know !

1) BJP leader Tajinder Bagga was arrested by PUNJAB POLICE from his West Delhi house on Friday morning, based on a complaint registered with its CYBER CELL. Bagga allegedly threatened DELHI CHIEF MINISTER during a protest on March 30.
2) ALLEGING that the jurisdictional police wasn’t informed about the task, the DELHI POLICE filed an FIR at JANAKPURI POLICE STATION against the PUNJAB POLICE for "abduction" and "assault".
3) After registering FIR, Delhi Police flashed messages to various places. Simultaneously, Delhi Police also moved DWARKA COURT and obtained a search warrant – means wherever Bagga is found, he should be rescued, taken into custody and brought back to the Dwarka court. The search warrants were also flashed to HARYANA POLICE and several other police forces. It was near Pipli (Kurukshetra) where Bagga was found, thus taken into custody by Haryana Police.
4) A team of HARYANA POLICE in Kurukshetra district intercepted PUNJAB POLICE and stopped it from proceeding towards Punjab near Masana village in Kurukshetra. Kurukshetra superintendent of police (SP) Anshu Singla and ASP Karan Goel were also present at the spot while Punjab cops were not allowed to proceed further(allegedly put under arrest along with Bagga)
5) GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB files writ of Habeas Corpus in PUNJAB & HARYANA HIGH COURT. HC turns down Punjab govt's request to keep Bagga in Haryana. Haryana State counsel argued that the habeas corpus petition filed by the State of Punjab was for its police officials and not for Bagga. The High Court has asked the state of Haryana to furnish a status report.
Punjab Advocate General Anmol Rattan Sidhu said detaining Punjab Police officials was “absolutely wrong" by Haryana Police. He also denied Tajinder Singh Bagga’s father’s allegations of assault by Punjab Police.

ASG Satya Pal Jain representing Delhi Police said the state police have taken BJP leader Tajinder Singh Bagga back to the national capital adding, that further action will be taken. “We have not arrested or detained anybody from Punjab Police. They didn’t intimate Delhi Police before arresting him and themselves took him into custody. The case will be heard tomorrow morning at 10 am."

Vijay Diwas (विजय दिवस, Victory Day) is commemorated every 16th December to observe Indian military's victory over Pakistan in War of 1971 for the liberation of Bangladesh from Pakistan. The end of the war also resulted in the unilateral and unconditional surrender of the Pakistan Army and subsequent secession of East Pakistan into Bangladesh. On this day in 1971, the chief of the Pakistani forces, General Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi, along with 93,000 troops, surrendered to the allied forces consists of Indian Army and Mukti Bahini, led by General Jagjit Singh Aurora, of India in the Ramna Race Course, now Suhrawardy Udyan, in Dhaka after their defeat in the war.

Embattled Liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya lost his application seeking leave to appeal in the United Kingdom Supreme Court.The 64-year-old businessman had 14 days to file this application to seek permission to move the higher court on the High Court order dated April 20, 2020.
The government of India’s response to the appeal application was submitted earlier this week.
The UK Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said Mallya’s appeal to certify a point of law was rejected on all three counts, of hearing oral submissions, grant a certificate on the questions as drafted, and grant permission to appeal to the Supreme Court.

The Constitution Day 📕is celebrated across the 🇮🇳country on 26 November. The Indian Constitution was drafted by Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar after closely examining all the constitutions around the world. It was brought before the Indian Constituent Assembly on 26 November 1949. On this day, the Constituent Assembly adopted it.
