वकालत की पढ़ाई के दौरान मेरे संरक्षक, गुरु आदरणीय प्रशान्त मनचंदा जी (वर्तमान अतिरिक्त महाधिवक्ता, पंजाब सरकार) के सानिध्य में सन् 2017 में दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय चुनाव संघ के प्रतिभागियों द्वारा दिल्ली की सरकारी व ग़ैर सरकारी संपत्तियों के विकरण का मामला एक जनहित याचिका (प्रशान्त मनचंदा बनाम केंद्र सरकार व अन्य) के माध्यम से माननीय उच्च न्यायालय, दिल्ली के माननीय मुख्य न्यायमूर्ति के समक्ष रखा गया था जिसमें माननीय मुख्य न्यायाधीश महोदय ने उपरोक्त वर्णित संपत्तियों की सुरक्षा को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए कुछ नियम व शर्तें बनाने के साथ ही साथ दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय छात्र संघ चुनाव में भी उसके अनुपालन हेतु सख़्त आदेश जारी किया था लेकिन विगत एक दो वर्षों से माननीय उच्च न्यायालय द्वारा पारित आदेश को दरकिनार कर उसकी अवहेलना की जा रही थी। परिणामतः श्री मनचंदा जी ने दिल्ली की तमाम संपत्तियों की सुरक्षा हेतु पुनः माननीय उच्च न्यायालय का दरवाज़ा खटखटाया है जिसपर संज्ञान लेते हुए माननीय उच्च न्यायालय ने सख़्ती से पेश आते हुए दोषियों के विरुद्ध कार्यवाही करने का आदेश पारित किया है। मुझे ख़ुशी है कि मैं भी इस मुहिम का कभी हिस्सा था।
