He got his well-deserved recognition when he was invited as a witness to the joint/select committee constituted to present the report on The Patent Bill, 1965 to the Parliament of India during the year 1966. Based on the recommendation of the committee, The Patent Act, of 1970 was enacted which still remains the basis for putting in place a balanced patent regime in India. He started building a team and training them so as to cater to the demands of clients. His outstanding academic records focus on a deep understanding of IP law and a strong value system that set up the foundation of the firm.
