Phanindra Nath Mukherjee , Also known as P.N Mukherjee, was an attorney at law and a graduate in law from the then Ripon college under Calcutta University (presently known as Surendranath Law college). He started his noble profession in 1958, like a priest to the temple of Justice; Calcutta High court. His journey through the corridor of law ended in 2004. P.N Mukherjee was a member of incorporated law society(High Court, Calcutta) and throughout his career he imparted the meaning of impartiality, dignity of our profession, judicial decorum and faith in the rule of law. Whenever there is a question of ethics, morality or dignity of advocacy his name echoes in the corridor of justice, Calcutta High court.
