We express our profound grief at the passing of Sir
Senior Advocate Yezdezard Jahangir Dastoor (Y.J.
Dastoor), former Additional Solicitor General of the
Calcutta High Court. He will be remembered for his
deep knowledge of law, his integrity, and his lifelong
commitment to justice.
His humility and guidance enriched the profession
and inspired younger members of the Bar. His loss is
deeply felt across the legal community.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
